We are open from Tues to Sat 9-5 and Sunday from 9-3, We have late night opening from the last Thursday in May to the last Thursday in September when we are open until 8pm. During the winter, Nov 1st to Jan 31st we close at 4pm.

Please note that the first Friday of every month is our 100 Bird Sporting Competition and most of our regular practice stands will not be available.

Please note that clay shooting doesn’t start until 10

For independent shooting we do not require you to pre book. However, we do work on an appointment only basis for both clay shooting and air rifle lessons. To book a shooting experience please call the reception on 0116 279 6001 (ext1) or email us at : info@kibworthshootingground.co.uk . Cancellations or changes require 48hrs notice. If cancellations are made after that time you will lose your deposit.

There is a café on-site where you can get hot and cold drinks, a Full English, Hot and cold cobs/sandwiches and lite-snacks

Clay Shooting

There are 12 sporting stands around the ground most of which are changed weekly. The ground also has 6 coaching stands for those starting out in the sport, an English Skeet, FITASC, Compak and DTL layouts, so there is something for everyone.

We have a fully stocked shop with everything the clay shooting enthusiast needs. Please remember you will not be able to buy cartridges without your shotgun certificate.

Air Rifle.

We have a fully stocked shop with everything for the Air rifle enthusiast.

We have 4 covered air rifle ranges for practice and zeroing with one at 75 yards, so whatever the weather you’ll be comfortable and sheltered from the elements. Each range has metal targets already set up for easy use and enjoyment, you can also hire targets stands to use with paper targets.

Three-part Introduction course

These lessons are tailored for beginners and allows you to gain knowledge of clay shooting and gun safety. The lessons are approximately 1 hour long and include a 10-minute safety brief at the start of each lesson. You will then get 25 shots on our coaching stands under the guidance of our qualified instructors.

The aim is to take you, as an absolute novice, to where you are a safe and competent shooter. This programme is also extremely useful for those who are looking to further their interest in the sport and eventually obtain their Shotgun Certificate. All equipment is provided including eye and ear protection. Each lesson costs £50 per adult and £40 per junior.

1hr Experienced clay shooting lesson

These lessons are aimed at the more experienced shot. They give you the opportunity to help eliminate those bad habits you may have picked up over the years. The CPSA coach can give you a range of advice and support from gun fit, eye dominance to lead and shooting method. This one to one lesson includes up to 100 clays costs £65 per adult and £50 per junior and you supply your own gun and cartridges.

Joint Experienced clay shooting lesson

The joint lessons have the same concept as the individual lessons. You will get 1.5 hours and up to 75 clays each and costs £90 for two adults or £75 for two juniors.

Air Rifle Introduction lesson

If you are a complete beginner, this Introduction is the perfect lesson for you. Your instructor will teach you all the basics such as gun safety and setting up the air rifle, and then moving onto how to hit the targets and the techniques needed to improve your shooting. You will get an hour shoot and all the equipment will be provided. These sessions cost £30 per adult and £25 per junior.

Air Rifle Advanced Lesson

These lessons are aimed at the more experienced shooter. The lessons give you the opportunity to help eliminate those bad habits you may have picked up over the years. The coach can give you a range of advice and support from gun fit to zeroing scopes. The lessons are one to one however you will have to supply your own air rifle and pellets for the session. This lesson costs £30 per adult and £25 per junior.

Cancellations or changes require 48hrs notice. If cancellations are made after that time you will lose your deposit.
